Thank you for trying FastMenu! FastMenu allows you to create your own system menu commands, similar to the Apple Menu on a Mac, but with Windows! It's easy ... To begin, unzip the file into any directory on your hard disk. Just be sure to keep all of the files in the same directory. Then, use File, Run from the Program Manager to launch FastMenu. A quick tip: Put the icon for FastMenu in your Startup group, with the "Run Minimized" option checked. It will start when Windows does, and you won't even know it is there, until you start to see the benefits from it! This unregistered version has the ability to launch up to two applications from the system menu. The registered version allows as many as you like. This version comes with an .INI file that specifies the Notepad and the Calculator as the two applications, but you may edit them to fit your needs. When the program is running, just open any System Menu (on the upper- left of almost every window in Windows). Your configured menu options will be at the bottom of the list. Just choose it and it will run! To make things simple, you don't have to edit the .INI file by hand, although you certainly may. Instead, you may use the Add, Edit, and Remove commands to configure the menu options. Remember, the unregistered version supports only two options. To register, go SWREG on CompuServe, and search on user ID 73770,2021. Or, send $10 check or money order to: David E. Stewart 1504 Winterset Parkway Marietta, GA 30067 Thank you!
